A wholesale distribution client operating a new warehouse facility in Norfolk required a high-performance storage system capable of safely accommodating oversized pallet loads while maximising operational efficiency.

The customer required:
Storage for oversized and non-standard pallet dimensions

Our project engineers conducted a detailed on-site survey to assess:
Floor slab condition and load-bearing suitability
Clear internal heights and building column positions
Forklift operating aisles and turning circles
Beam load requirements and pallet weight distribution
This allowed us to ensure the proposed system met both operational demands and structural safety factors.
Detailed CAD layout drawings and elevation plans were produced to:
Optimise aisle widths for forklift access
Maximise pallet locations within the available footprint
Plan beam levels based on pallet height and lift clearances
Demonstrate safe load distribution across each bay
Load notices and safe working load calculations were provided in accordance with industry standards.
The system was built using the heavy-duty Dexion P90+, a fully adjustable pallet racking solution engineered for high-intensity warehouse environments.
